Essential oils are amazing every day resources to have at your fingertips. One of my favorite ways to use essential oils is for emotional support. Mainly because there is nothing–literally nothing–you can run out and pick up to help support emotional wellness. Essential oils offer you the amazing power to take control of your emotional health.
A friend of mine recently lost her father unexpectedly. My heart just went out to her and her family. As someone who lives VERY far away from family, it can be even more overwhelming to experience a sudden loss. I couldn’t change what happened. I couldn’t bring her dad back.
But I could offer her both support and essential oils to help support her emotional health during such a sad and upsetting time in her life. I immediately got on the phone and offered some support and a listening ear. She was leaving the next day for the funeral. I simply asked, “Would you like to take some oils with you? I have some that might help support you doing this time.”
Her answer was a resounding yes. So there I was in 10 minutes at her doorstep offering her a small gift of oils. It was all I could do to really help her in that moment, but I was so glad I was able to share the gift of essential oils with her during that time.
Everyday challenges creep up on us. Big life challenges happen unexpectedly. I’m so grateful I have essential oils to help support me, and anyone else who needs it, during those times.
